This product's valve body is made of ductile iron, a high-strength cast iron material known for its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The butterfly disc is also crafted from ductile iron and is suitable for use with neutral fluids such as clean water.
The liquid flows through a valve stem made of martensitic stainless steel 420, which contains materials such as 2Cr13 and 3Cr13. This material boasts high tensile strength and offers moderate corrosion resistance. The sealing seat is crafted from an EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer) material.
The EPDM valve seat boasts properties such as ozone resistance, aging resistance, heat resistance, and chemical media resistance, making it suitable for use with water, air, and most other common media. It has a wide range of applications and performs exceptionally well under standard temperature and pressure conditions.
Valve seats made from EPDM rubber offer excellent sealing performance. Handles are available in a variety of options, including malleable iron handles, stamped handles, aluminum handles, and stainless steel handles.
