Multi-marker sphere - Ethylpropene seat - Ball plate - Malleable iron handle
Component Composition:
Valve body: Features a wafer-type connection design, secured between pipe flanges by bolts, providing an internal passage for fluid flow.
Butterfly disc: A disc-shaped structure with sealing material fitted around its edges, rotating around the valve stem's central axis.
Valve stem; connects the handle and the butterfly disc, transmitting rotational force.
Sealed valve seat: Provides the sealing function and is typically made of rubber.
Transmission: It can be worm gear transmission, handle control, electric actuators, and pneumatic actuator control.
The Type A butterfly valve accommodates DN50-DN350 size standards, including GB9112-88, DIN 2501 (Germany), BS 4504 (UK), ISO 2084, ISO 2531 (international standards), BS 10-E (UK), and ANSI 1259 (US) flange connection standards. For DN400-DN500 sizes, it complies with GB9112-88, DIN 2501, ISO 2084, and BS 4504 flange connection standards.
Detailed introduction:
This product features a valve body made of ductile iron, a high-strength cast iron material known for its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The butterfly disc is also crafted from ductile iron, making it suitable for use with neutral fluids such as clean water.
The liquid flows through a valve stem made of martensitic stainless steel 420, with compositions including 2Cr13 and 3Cr13. This material boasts high tensile strength and exhibits moderate corrosion resistance. The sealing seat is crafted from an EPDM seat—specifically, a ternary ethylene-propylene diene monomer (EPDM) seat.
The EPDM valve seat boasts properties such as ozone resistance, aging resistance, heat resistance, and chemical media resistance, making it suitable for use with water, air, and most other common media. It has a wide range of applications and performs exceptionally well under standard temperature and pressure conditions.
Valve seats made from EPDM rubber offer excellent sealing performance. Handles are available in a variety of options, including malleable iron handles, stamped handles, aluminum handles, and stainless steel handles.
